WACZ Media utilizes its fictional characters for books, comics, art, and consumer products some of which feature cryptids, UFOs, and the supernatural. It was founded in 2015 by Jamel Paul, an avid fan of comic books and a published writer (The Case of the Joker’s Wild (Black Star News, 1997), The Phantom's Fixation (November 2010), The Legend of Stratus Janice (June 2012), and Pink Lemonade with Frank McPuffin (October 2015)).

Jamel spent a brief time interning for the Editorial and Children’s Subsidiary Rights Departments of Farrar, Straus, and Giroux. He’s also a graduate of the Long Ridge Writers Group. Although influenced by the writing of popular television
shows and movies throughout the years, his biggest influences were Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and Marcia Muller, author of the Sharon McCone private eye series.

Over the years, WACZ Media has published a variety of products on various platforms, including amazon.com and zazzle.com. However, our main focus is book publishing. We hope you enjoy our work.
